Meta ads that make you the name people remember

I run awareness campaigns for businesses that need to be known in a specific market before the buying moment arrives. One rule: reach the right people, often enough, with something worth remembering.

Mostly Meta (Facebook and Instagram). LinkedIn, Google or TikTok when they suit the offer better.

Sound familiar?

The three things I hear from businesses who've tried brand ads before.

“We boosted posts. Nothing happened.”

Boosting sends your content to whoever's cheapest, not to the people who'll buy from you. That's reach, not awareness.

“We can't tell if awareness is working.”

Impressions and reach look nice in a report, but nobody connects them to what happens in the pipeline three months later.

“Our market doesn't know we exist.”

Competitors with worse offers win because they're the name that comes to mind. You're starting cold on every single sale.

How I run awareness

Targeted reach, at a frequency that builds memory without annoying anyone. It compounds over 3, 6 and 12 months.

1. Onboarding & research

Who needs to know you, and the one thing they should remember.

2. Build the audience + creative

A tight audience, and creative built around assets people can recognise: your look, your line, your face. These become the memory structures that make you easy to recall.

3. Targeted reach at the right frequency

Repeated exposure to the same people, capped before it gets annoying.

4. Review and refresh

  • Check reach and frequency. Are we hitting the right people often enough?
  • Refresh creative before it wears out, keeping the recognisable parts the same.
  • Hand off warm audiences. Everyone who watched or engaged becomes a retargeting audience for lead gen or sales.
3 monthsYour market starts to recognise you.
6 monthsPeople connect your look and line to you.
12 monthsYou're the name that comes to mind when they're ready to buy.

The numbers I run it against

Awareness still gets measured. These show whether fame is actually building.

We start with the basics and add things when the account actually needs them.

Why one media buyer instead of an agency

I've been running paid campaigns for 12+ years, across pretty much every industry you can think of. Different offers, same underlying process.

The businesses that do well aren't the ones with the cleverest ads. They're the ones where someone is watching the numbers every day and adjusting. That's the job.

I'm one person, not an agency. You talk to me, I run the account, and I only take on a handful of clients at a time so that stays true.

Questions I get asked

What does it cost?

From $750 a month for one platform and one campaign. Extras only if you need them. Ad spend is paid directly to the platform from your own account.

How do you measure awareness?

Reach at target frequency, video hold rate, branded search and direct traffic lift, and the growth of your warm retargeting audiences. When we run lead gen or sales afterwards, those audiences convert cheaper: that's the real proof.

Is there a minimum ad budget?

I recommend $1,500+ per month in ad spend. Below that you can't reach a meaningful audience often enough for it to stick.

Isn't awareness a waste for a small business?

It is if it's run like a big brand with no follow-through. Run tight to a defined market and fed into retargeting, it's the cheapest way to make every later campaign work harder.

Do I have to sign a long contract?

No. Month to month after an initial three-month setup period. You keep the ad account, the pixel, the creative and the data.

What happens on the call?

15 minutes. I'll look at your current ads and funnel beforehand, tell you what I'd change and why, and you decide if you want help doing it. If we're not a fit, you'll still leave with a plan.

Let's get you in front of the right people

Free 15-minute call. I take a limited number each week so I can actually prepare. If you're already running ads, I'll look at them beforehand.
