Meta ads that bring in qualified leads, not just clicks

I run ads for businesses that need a steady flow of enquiries, calls or sign-ups. One process: ad → qualifying step → booked conversation → customer.

Mostly Meta (Facebook and Instagram). LinkedIn, Google or TikTok when they suit the offer better.

Watch: the strategy behind the ads, for a training academy. The same chain applies to any lead-gen business.

Sound familiar?

The three things I hear on almost every first call, whatever the industry.

“We get leads, but nobody picks up.”

Instant forms with no qualifying questions fill your CRM with people who forgot they clicked. Your team burns hours chasing them.

“We don't know if the ads are working.”

You see clicks and cost per lead, but not how many turned into conversations, and how many of those became customers.

“The last agency just disappeared.”

A monthly PDF and a Slack channel nobody answers. You want someone who tells you what changed and why, before you ask.

How I run it

The same loop every time: launch, get data, keep what works, cut what doesn't, then scale.

1. Onboarding & research

Your offer, your customers, your numbers, and what's been tried before.

2. Build the ad structure + funnel

Campaigns set up for clean testing, plus the funnel: landing page, qualifying survey, booking and reminders. Funnel builds are quoted separately if you need one.

3. First ad batch

Test different personas and messaging combos against each other to find who responds, and to what.

4. Keep what works, cut what doesn't

  • Turn off losing ads. No sentiment, just the numbers.
  • Make new ads. Bring the cost down with better ads, focused on the winning persona.
  • Improve the funnel. Copy, layout and qualifying questions, based on where people drop off.

5. Scale

More spend on what's proven. Then back to step 4, with more data every round.

The numbers I run it against

Every link in the chain gets its own number. When one slips, I know which lever to pull.

Why one media buyer instead of an agency

I've been running paid campaigns for 12+ years, across pretty much every industry you can think of. Different offers, same underlying process.

The businesses that do well aren't the ones with the cleverest ads. They're the ones where someone is watching the numbers every day and adjusting. That's the job.

I'm one person, not an agency. You talk to me, I run the account, and I only take on a handful of clients at a time so that stays true.

Questions I get asked

What does it cost?

From $750 a month for one platform and one campaign. Extras only if you need them. Ad spend is paid directly to the platform from your own account.

How soon will we see results?

Usually within the first two to three weeks. The first month is about finding the ad and qualifying-step combination that produces real leads at a sensible cost; then we scale that.

Do I have to sign a long contract?

No. Month to month after an initial three-month setup period. You keep the ad account, the pixel, the creative and the data.

What happens on the call?

15 minutes. I'll look at your current ads and funnel beforehand, tell you what I'd change and why, and you decide if you want help doing it. If we're not a fit, you'll still leave with a plan.

Let's look at your lead flow together

Free 15-minute call. I take a limited number each week so I can actually prepare. If you're already running ads, I'll look at them beforehand.
