Leads who never reply, or go quiet after the first message, are one of the most frustrating problems with lead gen on Meta. It happens to everyone. When I see it, it’s usually one of two things.
1. There’s no urgency. I was advertising two events at the same time. One page had a countdown and the other didn’t, and the one with the countdown sold more. The biggest difference was that people knew time was running out.
2. There’s less demand than you expected. This one is harder, because a lot of business owners aren’t ready to accept that fewer people want what they’re selling than they thought. But it’s not the end of the story. If you change the offer to appeal to a different group, or appeal to the same group in a different way, you can unlock demand that was there all along. That’s why market research is so important for Meta advertisers.
If your leads are replying but they’re the wrong people, that’s a different problem: see how to fix trash form leads. And if the ads aren’t bringing in leads at all, start with what I’d do first when local lead gen ads aren’t working.
